Denise Jensen Army Veteran and recipient of Comeback Yoga scholarship. She’s been practicing Yoga for over 10 years and came to Yoga seeking it's proposed healing benefits and a desperate search to lose weight. Once she lost weight and started feeling the healing benefits of Yoga she knew she wanted to share the practice with others. Through her practice she is better physically, emotionally and mentally from incorporating awareness and mindfulness. Her goals as a Yoga teacher are focused on helping others find balance, and to become healthier both physically and mentally. She encourages inward reflection, purpose, and perspective in my classes. When she is not on mat you can find her cooking, gardening, reading, doing stained glass work or spending time with her lovely family.
